Kiosk is an iPad app that enables your ministry to accept gifts, event registrations, and form submissions from a self-service station. Set it up once, lock it, and leave it unattended in a lobby, welcome area, or event entrance for your community to use independently.
What You'll Need
- An iPad with Kiosk 3.0 by Ministry Brands iPad app installed
- A connected Moby 5500 card reader
- Administrative access to your ministry's Giving account, or an administrator who can set up the Giving side for you.
- A supported stand to hold the iPad
- A reliable internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) at the Kiosk location.
Set Up Your Kiosk in Six Steps
-
Install and open Kiosk 3.0 by Ministry Brands on the iPad.
- Use the app-generated registration code to connect the iPad to your ministry's Giving account. See Register an iPad.
- Create or confirm at least one authorized Kiosk user, then sign in using the six-digit PIN sent by email. See Manage Kiosk Users.
- Choose the Kiosk mode you want: Give Now, Give Now & Events, or Dedicated Form. Each will have unique settings.
- For Give Now, Give Now & Events, and Dedicated Form (if payment is required), be sure to connect the card reader.
- Lock the Kiosk and place it where your community will use it. See Lock and Manage.
How the new Kiosk Differs from the Legacy Kiosk
- Runs on a current iPad with a simple Bluetooth card reader rather than legacy hardware.
- Setup, mode switching, and maintenance are considerably simpler.
- The donor experience is more modern and consistent across giving, events, and forms.
