Setting up On Behalf of with ChMS Integration

This article will walk you through the steps of setting up On Behalf Off (OBO) in your Giving and ChMS programs when ChMS integration has been activated.

Important: Before OBO can be set up, the ChMS integration must be completed and the fund needed for OBO mapped.  If you need assistance setting up the integration between your Giving and your ParishSOFT Family Suite please contact our Support team.  Please be aware that Support is not able to assist with fund mapping.  This article will walk you through the fund mapping process.

  1. Once integration has been established and funds have been mapped, navigate to Fund Management on the left navigation bar.

  1. On the Fund Management window click the +Add button in the top right corner.

  1. Select Pledge Drive from the dropdown.

  1. Fill in the required fields:
    • Pledge Drive Name
    • Fund
    • Pledge Goal
    • Pledge Card End Date

  1. Fill in any other necessary elements for the Pledge and click Save.
  2. Navigate to Forms on the left navigation bar.

  1. Within Form Manager click the +Create New Form button in the top right of the screen.

  1. From the form templates select Pledge Drive, create a name for the form, and select the Start Building Form button.

  1. In the newly created form, click the Gear icon to the right of the field set.

  1. In the field properties window, select the Fund from the drop-down menu and check the Allow On Behalf Of checkbox.
  2. We recommend that the Validation checkbox be checked as well.
  3. Click the Done button in the bottom right corner.

  1. Before your form can be published please read this article and complete the necessary steps.

Family Suite Setup

  1. Log in to ParishSOFT Family Suite and navigate to the Offering module
  2. Click the Funds icon.

  1. Once on the Funds page, use the search bar to find the pledge fund.

  1. Select the name of the fund to open the fund details.
  2. On the Fund Details page, select the Goals tab.

  1. Click the plus sign + icon in the top right corner to add goals for each parish.

  1. Select the appropriate parish from the drop-down box, the goal amount, and the group (if applicable).
  2. Click the Disc icon to the right to save the goal details.
