Enable a Reminder Message to Help New Givers Complete Their First Gift

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to enable the Giving Reminder in your manager portal. By following these steps, you will be able to send automated reminders to new givers who start but do not complete a gift, helping increase successful transactions.
💡 Why Use a Giving Reminder?
New givers may sometimes start the donation process but not complete it. Enabling the Giving Reminder helps nudge them with a prompt—either by text or email—so they can quickly return and complete their gift.
Steps to Enable the Giving Reminder
- Log in to your Manager Portal.
- In the top right corner, click the Gear ⚙️ icon to access your main settings.
- Click on the Settings card.
- In the Giving Portal section, locate the checkbox for Enable giving reminder.
- Check the box to activate this feature.
✅ Once enabled, the system will automatically send a reminder message to first-time givers based on how they initiated their gift (email or text).

- Email Reminder:
- Subject: Don’t forget to complete your gift
- Body: Thank you for starting your gift! If you didn’t get a chance to finish, you can complete it here: [Giving Link]
