Every StewardPay session processes payments for one Fund. Before making your first payment, set up the Fund and, optionally, the Location and Administrative Fee to ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
What You'll Need
- A registered device and a signed-in user (see Registering an iPhone and Managing StewardPay Users and PIN Access).
- Knowledge of which fund and location payments for this event or activity should go to.
- Knowledge of whether you want to add an Administrative Fee to the transaction total.
Important: StewardPay processes one Fund per sale. Unlike online giving, you cannot allow the payer to choose multiple funds in a single transaction. To collect for two funds, complete the first sale, then change the Fund and start a new one.
Configure Your Session
- After logging in to StewardPay with your PIN, you can set the Location, Fund, and Administrative Fee for your session.

If you do not update the Location, Fund, or Administrative Fee, the settings from the previous session will be used.
Location
If your organization uses the Location feature in the Giving Admin portal, you can tap the Location button to set the location linked to your transactions.
If you do not need the transactions linked to a particular Location, you may select the None option from the Locations list. Tap the Save Changes button after you make a selection.
Fund Configuration
Tap Fund Configuration to choose a fund.
If you have a lot of funds, it may be convenient to search for the Fund by name. Tap the name of the Fund, then tap Save Changes.
Administrative Fee
Administrative Fees are meant to offer the payee the option to cover credit card transaction fees. Tap Administrative Fee to change this setting.
If enabled, the user will see a checkbox to add the Administrative Fee to the transaction total. Choose whether the Administrative Fee will be a Percentage Fee, Flat Fee, or you may choose to have No Administrative Fee.
Tap Save Changes.
Important: If you select either Percentage Fee or Flat Fee, a checkbox will be displayed during checkout to add the fee to the total amount.
Switch Funds During a Session
The Fund you choose remains active for all subsequent sales during the session. To switch funds—for example, from an event ticket table to a T-shirt sale—tap the Fund Configuration button and select the new Fund before processing the next payment.
