Give Now & Events mode allows users to both donate and search for or register for events directly from the Kiosk. If an event requires payment, the Kiosk uses the same card payment process as Give Now mode to provide a consistent experience.
When to Use Give Now & Events
The Give Now & Events mode is suitable when you want your users to select between making credit card donations and registering and paying for events.
Give Now & Events Settings
-
From the Mode Selection page, tap Give Now & Events.
-
The currently selected Give Now settings are displayed. If the settings need to be adjusted, tap Edit Settings. Otherwise, tap Launch Give Now.
- Available settings:
- Location: If your organization uses the Location feature in the Giving Admin portal, you can set the location linked to your transactions. If you do not need the transactions linked to a particular Location, you may select the None option from the Locations list.
- Funds: You must select at least one fund. Any chosen fund(s) selected will be available for the user to donate to.
- Administrative Fee: Administrative Fees are meant to offer the payee the option to cover credit card transaction fees. If enabled, the user will see a checkbox to add the Administrative Fee to the transaction total. Choose whether the Administrative Fee will be a Percentage Fee, Flat Fee, or you may choose to have No Administrative Fee.
- Card Reader: This shows whether the card reader is connected. The card reader must be connected for the Give Now & Events mode.
Note: There are no Event-specific settings to be configured in the Kiosk app. Fund and fee settings are inherited from the Form Properties.
Important: All payments received in the Kiosk app will be deposited into your primary bank account.
