Give Now mode offers the simplest Giving Kiosk experience. Donors select a fund, enter or choose an amount, decide whether to include an administrative fee (if enabled), and complete their payment using the card reader.

When to Use Give Now

Use Give Now when you want users to donate by credit card.

Give Now Settings

• From the Mode Selection page, tap Give Now.
• The currently selected settings are displayed.
• To adjust the settings, tap Edit Settings. Otherwise, tap Launch Give Now. 
• Available settings:
  • Location: If your organization uses the Location feature in the Giving Admin portal, you can set the location linked to your transactions. If you don't need transactions linked to a particular Location, select the None option from the Locations list. 
  • Funds: You must select at least one fund. Any chosen fund(s) will be available for the user to donate to.
  • Administrative Fee: Administrative Fees allow the payee to cover credit card transaction fees. If enabled, the user will see a checkbox to add the Administrative Fee to the transaction total. Choose whether the Administrative Fee will be a Percentage Fee, a Flat Fee, or no administrative fee.
  • Card Reader: This shows whether the card reader is connected. The card reader must be connected for the Give Now mode.

Important: All payments received in the Kiosk app will be deposited into your primary bank account. 

Donor Experience

1. When the donor approaches the Kiosk, they will select a fund, enter an amount, and decide whether to include the administrative fee (if enabled). They tap Continue.

   

2.  The donor then enters their name, email address, and optionally their phone number. If they wish to give anonymously, they can alternatively click the checkbox, "I want to give anonymously." If that checkbox is selected, the donation will be recorded anonymously in the giving system and will not appear on their end-of-year giving statement, and they will not receive a receipt. They tap Continue to Pay.

   

3. Using the card reader, the donor Inserts, Swipes, or Taps their card. 

   

4. If the donor entered their contact information in step 2, they can select whether they want a receipt. The Give Now form will return to a blank state for the next donor.
   
5. If the donor did not enter their contact information, they'll tap Done.  

Important: If a donor selects the option to give anonymously, the gift is recorded as an Anonymous Member and can not later be associated with the donor.
