Kiosk App Reporting

Use this guide to understand how Kiosk payments are recorded and reported.

What You'll Need

  • Access to your ministry's giving reporting, or an administrator who can run reports.
  • Some completed Kiosk transactions to review.

Viewing Kiosk Payment

  1. Log in to your Giving Admin site
  2. On the left-side navigation, click Reports, then click Payments. Depending on your settings, Payments could alternatively be called Gifts, Donations, or Transactions.

  3. To see only Kiosk payments, click the Filters button on the right and set the Payment Method to TriPOS Kiosk. Then, click Apply Filters.
Important: Do not choose "Kiosk" as the Payment Method filter, as this is our legacy Kiosk app.

  4. Alternatively, to distinguish Kiosk payments from other Payment types when viewing, click the Columns icon and select Payment Method. This will add a new Method column to the grid.

What to Know About Kiosk Payments

  • Kiosk (TriPOS Kiosk) payments are tracked and categorized by Payment Method, enabling them to be distinguished from other channels like StewardPay (Point of Sale) or online giving.
  • The fund the donor selected keeps a record of each gift, even though all deposits go to a single bank account.
  • Gifts for which a receipt was requested are attached to a donor record; gifts without a receipt are classified as Anonymous Member gifts.
  • If your ministry is moving from the legacy Kiosk, reporting can differentiate legacy Kiosk payments (Method = Kiosk) from new Giving Kiosk payments (Method = TriPOS Kiosk).

Reconciling Fund Deposits

  • Because all Kiosk deposits settle to one bank account, funds that normally route to different accounts may require manual movement by your finance team.
  • Use the funds recorded on each transaction to guide that reconciliation.
