Add a new payment method or update an existing one in your Giving account.
Add or Edit a Payment Method
- Log into your Giving account.
- Click your initials in the upper-right corner and select My Account.
- Select Payment Methods.
- From here, you can:
- Add a new credit card or bank account
- Edit existing payment information
- Remove old or expired payment methods
Important: If a payment method is linked to an active recurring gift, assign a new payment method to that gift before removing the old one.
Update the Payment Method on a Recurring Gift
- Add the new payment method under My Account > Payment Methods.
- From the top menu, select Scheduled.
- Select the recurring gift you want to update.
- Edit the gift to assign the new payment method.
FAQ
Why can't I remove a payment method?
If it's linked to an active recurring gift, update that gift with a new payment method first, then remove the old one.
What payment methods are supported?
You can add credit and debit cards, bank accounts, and other options such as Venmo or PayPal, depending on what your church or organization has enabled.
