Donor Matching is a crucial maintenance task for seamless Integration Syncing between Giving and Family Suite.
We recommend completing the following steps as part of your daily, weekly, or monthly workflow in the software.
You can match donors in Giving to their Family Suite profiles for Integration using two methods:
- Sync Reports.
- Donor Profiles.
Match through the Sync Report
On the blue Header, select the Gear icon to access the Integrations card.
Choose Sync Report from the top menu options. This is the system default.
- The Sync Report will show errors by default.
To match the donor to Family Suite from this page, click on the three-dot menu to the right and select Match User.
- Based on the existing data entered in both the Giving and Family Suite profiles, a list of possible matches will appear in the window that opens.
- If Giving finds a match, you will see a potential match listed. The less precise your search, the more record possibilities will come up.
- Important: Matching criteria is based on the Email Address. For an exact match, use the email address on file with the Family Suite Family Record (Family DUID). The Family ID in the Donor Match function must match the Family DUID within the ParishSOFT Family Suite Family Record.
Match through Donor Profiles
- Navigate to Donors in the left side Navigation Panel.
- Select a Donor by clicking directly on their name.
- In the Donor Profile, go to the tab labeled ChMS Profiles.
Once on the ChMS Profiles tab, click Match Profiles on the right.
As before, the Donor Match window opens, and a list of possible matches appears.
The Matched Profiles will now show under the ChMS Profiles tab in the Donor Profile.
