How to Use Your Ministry's Primary Giving Link

Your Giving Portal is the central hub for online generosity. It serves as the landing page for givers whether they give via your website, text-to-give, or mobile app. Customizing this portal ensures a welcoming, branded experience for both new and seasoned givers.

Before You Begin

  • Confirm you have administrator access to the manager portal
  • Ensure at least one Active Fund is linked; otherwise, the portal will show “Expired” and result in a dead link
  • Prepare your header image (ideal size: 800px x 100px, file size under 3 MB)

Steps

  1. Navigate to Giving Portal Settings

    • Log in to your manager portal.
    • Click the Settings icon (gear ⚙️ in the top right corner) and select the Giving Portal card.
  2. Upload a Header Image
    • Choose a logo or branded image
    • Ideal size: 800px x 100px
    • File size: less than 3 MB
  3. Edit Display Name
    • This name appears at the top of your Giving Portal
    • If your header image includes your organization name, you can leave this blank
  4. Customize Portal Address (Optional)
    • Create a short, memorable URL for printed materials or easy mobile access
  5. Click Save
    • Your customized Giving Portal link will now direct givers to your Primary Giving Form.

Enable Home Tab (Optional)

    • Showcase up to 5 Featured Forms (e.g., Giving, Prayer Request, New Guest)
    • Include upcoming Event Registration Forms
    • Preview Home Tab
    • Click Save
      • Your Home Page link is now available for your Donors.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE
  • The portal will not be live until linked to an Active Fund
  • If no active fund exists, the form status will show “Expired”

Troubleshooting

  • If the portal link doesn’t work, check for an active fund
  • If images don’t display correctly, verify file size and dimensions
