Edit a Donor's Profile

Editing a Giver's Profile

Objective

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to edit a giver's profile in your giving platform. By following these steps, admins can assist givers in managing their accounts effectively.

💡 Why Edit a Giver's Profile?

Admins can help givers manage their profiles by updating essential information, ensuring accurate records, and providing support for any account-related issues.

Steps to Edit a Giver's Profile

Step 1: Navigate to the Donors Tab

  • Log in to your manager portal.
  • Click on the Donors tab in the left navigation menu.

Step 2: Search for a Giver

  • Use the Search Box in the upper left corner to find the specific giver.

Step 3: Edit Profile

  • Click the 3-dot ellipsis icon to the far right of the donor's name.
  • Select Edit Profile from the dropdown menu to open the Edit Donor Profile window.

Step 4: Update Profile Information

  • Complete the Edit Donor Profile window by updating the name, envelope number, and address.
  • Note: Email and phone number cannot be edited by an admin as they are used by the donor to log in to their account. The donor must update these items personally.
  • If your organization uses envelope numbers, connect with Support to add that option to your donor's profiles.
