Here are two simple ways to encourage Recurring Giving on your Giving Form.

 

Way #1: Make Recurring Giving the Default Option

 

Givers may not realize they can set up recurring giving through your form. To help them, you can set your giving form to default to the Recurring tab.

Steps to Make Recurring Giving the Default Option:

  1. Navigate to your giving form’s Form Properties.
  2. Click on the Payment tab.
  3. Ensure that Enable recurring payments is checked.
  4. Check Set default payment type to Recurring.
  5. Click Done. Remember to Save & Publish any changes to your form.

 

Way #2: Prompt Givers to Make Their Gift Recurring

Regularly remind givers of the option to set up Recurring Giving by activating a prompt that appears after they make a one-time gift. You can customize when this prompt appears, such as after their first, third, or fifth gift.

 

Steps to Prompt Givers to Make Their Gift Recurring:

1. Navigate to your giving form’s Form Properties.

2. Click on the Payment tab.

3. Ensure that Enable recurring payments is checked.

4. Check After submission, prompt the user to make a one-time gift a recurring gift.

Customize the Prompt Text and set how often it should appear.

5. Click Done.

 

Remember to Save & Publish any changes to your form.
