Kiosk Hardware Guide

The Kiosk application, when installed on an iPad, can be used as a self-service place for your users to make a donation or register for an event. Below are resources on setup, hardware compatibility, and optional equipment recommendations.

Introduction to the Kiosk Application

The Kiosk application is a giving solution designed specifically for iPads.

Important: The Kiosk application is not available through the Apple App Store.

When you purchase the Kiosk solution, you will receive:

  • A supported card swiper
  • Download instructions for the app

iPad Compatibility Requirements

The Kiosk app works on iPads that support iPadOS version 13 or later.

Compatible iPad models include:

  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (or newer)
  • iPad Pro 9.7-inch (or newer)
  • iPad Air 2 (or newer)
  • iPad Mini 4 (or newer)

Important: iPads 9th Gen and newer use USB-C ports instead of a headphone jack. These models are not compatible with the current card swiper.

Card Swiper Requirements

The card swiper provided connects via a traditional headphone jack.

Optional Additional Hardware

You may choose to enhance your Kiosk setup with recommended accessories.
