Setting Up Your Giving Portal
Objective
This article explains how to set up your Giving Portal, including uploading a header image, customizing the display name, and editing the portal address.
đź’ˇ Why Use the Giving Portal?
The Giving Portal serves as a central link to your Primary Giving Form, making it easy for givers to donate, register for events, and submit prayer requests. It can be shared or embedded on your website, used in text giving, and accessed through the MinistryOne mobile app.
Steps to Get Your Online Giving Portal Live
Step 1: Access Giving Portal Settings
- Navigate to your manager portal.
- Click on the Settings icon (gear ⚙️ symbol in the top right corner) and click the Giving Portal card.
Step 2: Complete Giving Portal Settings
- Upload a Header Image (e.g., your logo). Ideal size: 800px by 100px, file size less than 3 MB.
- Edit the Display Name (optional). This is the name displayed at the top of your giving portal.

Edit the Portal Address (optional). Customize the end of your giving portal URL for easy access.
Step 3: Save and Publish
- Click Save.
Note: Your giving portal will not be live until it’s linked to a fund. If there is no Active Fund, the form status will show "Expired" and result in a dead link.
Once your giving portal link is live, you or your web administrator can add the link to your website or wherever you choose to make your giving link available to your givers.
